Donate to UNICEF’s Rohingya Crisis Relief Fund

Since August 25th, more than 670,000 people are estimated to have fled violence in Myanmar and crossed the border into Bangladesh.  Up to 58% of those refugees are children.

The speed and magnitude of the Rohingya refugee crisis has overwhelmed the capacity of the Government of Bangladesh and humanitarian agencies to respond to people’s immediate needs.

UNICEF is working tirelessly to provide safe water and sanitation support. We have deployed a vaccination campaign against diptheria. From March 10 – 25, 2018 UNICEF vaccinated 321,590 children. In the first 10 days of campaign, 75% of targeted children were vaccinated, including 130,246 children from 6 weeks to 7 years who were vaccinated with pentavalent vaccine and 191,344 children from 7- 15 years vaccinated with tetanus-diphtheria vaccine.

More than 362,340 newly arrived children are in need of humanitarian assistance. Many come in shock, having lost family members or witnessed traumatic incidents; some are alone, with alarming reports of unaccompanied minors. They are in dire need of psychosocial support.

Help us deliver immediate life-saving humanitarian assistance to Rohingya refugees. These funds will be directed exclusively to relief efforts to the Rohingya crisis. The Rohingya children need our help.
