Pakistan Emergency Response Fund
A third of Pakistan is underwater. Heavy monsoon rains and floods have washed away villages – displacing millions – and destroyed critical infrastructure, including houses, roads, bridges and schools. 1,000 people – a third of them children – have been killed since June.
Entire families have been left homeless, without access to safe drinking water, food and medical services. They are out in the open with their young children, under relentless rains and exposed to harsh conditions, including preventable waterborne diseases.
More than 6.4 million people – including an estimated 3.4 million children – are in need of urgent humanitarian assistance right now.
Giving $100 today will help rush urgent aid to children and families in Pakistan impacted by the devastating floods, providing:
-
Safe drinking water
-
Life-saving medical supplies, medicines and vaccines
-
Sanitation supplies, including hygiene kits for children and their families
-
Support for the protection and psychosocial well-being of children affected
