Türkiye and Syria Earthquakes Appeal
Months after two devastating earthquakes hit northern Syria and south-east Türkiye in February 2023, millions of children still require urgent humanitarian assistance.
The earthquakes have left children without access to essential services including safe water, education and medical care. Many families continue to live in temporary shelters across the region after being forced from their damaged or destroyed homes.
We urgently need your support to help children and families affected by the earthquakes.
With your support, UNICEF is working tirelessly to provide children and families with life-saving assistance. In Syria, we are working to help children access safe water and nutrition, as well as education and psychosocial support. While in Türkiye, we continue to provide essential supplies and temporary learning spaces to help children return to the classroom as soon as possible.
Your generous donation will help UNICEF provide children and families in Syria and Türkiye with:
- Access to safe water and sanitation supplies;
- Access to education, including early learning;
- Treatment for severe acute malnutrition;
- Access to life-saving vaccines and medical supplies.
