Send help to Sudan now
The ongoing conflict in Sudan has put the lives of children and their families in danger. Millions have been forced to flee their homes making Sudan the biggest child displacement crisis in the world.
Famine is present in at least five areas in Sudan, with a risk of spreading to 17 other areas. UNICEF estimates that approximately 3.2 million children under five will experience severe acute malnutrition in 2025.
The conflict has also led to civilian infrastructure being decimated, leaving children and communities without essential services like safe water and basic health care. More than 30.4 million people, half of them children, are in urgent need of assistance.
UNICEF is advocating for a ceasefire to ensure that humanitarian workers can safely reach children and families with urgent health, nutrition, protection and education services.
Despite the immense challenges. UNICEF and our partners are in Sudan delivering life-saving aid to Sudan’s children. But we can’t do it alone.
