Send life-saving help to children in Somalia
Children and families across Somalia are experiencing the devastating effects of climate change and conflict. Five consecutive dry seasons, recent floods and political tensions in the region have left more than 8 million people in need of humanitarian assistance.
Approximately 6.5 million people face acute food insecurity, and 3.8 million people are displaced by conflict or extreme weather. 1.8 million children under 5 are severely malnourished, and 8 million people lack access to adequate water, sanitation and hygiene.
Children in Somalia need urgent support now.
Your generous donation to the Somalia Emergency Fund will help UNICEF:
- Reach 464,100 children with life-saving treatment for severe acute malnutrition;
-
Provide 3 million people with safe water for drinking, cooking and personal hygiene;
-
Vaccinate 356,900 children against measles.
