As violence escalates, children in Gaza need urgent, life-saving support

One million children have been plunged back into fear and danger. UNICEF urges all parties to reinstate the ceasefire immediately and sustain it to ensure life-saving supplies can safely reach children and families.

Children on both sides continue to pay the highest price for the violence. Since the escalation of hostilities began in October 2023, thousands of children have been displaced, injured, killed or have been caught in the fighting. Hunger and disease – including the resurgence of polio – threaten children’s lives.

The rights of every single child, no matter who or where they are, must be protected. We must continue to reach even more children with life-saving assistance. Will you help us?
