Children in Lebanon need urgent humanitarian support

The situation in Lebanon has continued to deteriorate. Hostilities along the Lebanon-Israel border have intensified, resulting in the deaths of over 1,600 people, including more than 100 children, as well as injuring more than 8,000. An estimated 1 million people have been displaced, including over 300,000 children.

UNICEF continues to call for the cessation of hostilities, and for all parties to protect children and civilian infrastructure, along with unimpeded humanitarian access.

Before the recent escalation of violence, Lebanon was already experiencing a drawn-out economic and political crisis. Now, the conflict has reduced access to essential health, water and education services – worsening an already dire situation for children and their communities.

We need to reach children and families in Lebanon now, with the urgent support they need.

Your donation to the Lebanon Emergency Fund will help provide urgent humanitarian aid to displaced children and families including:

  • Life-saving medical supplies;
  • Nutrition supplies, including Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food;
  • Critical water, sanitation and hygiene services;
  • Mental health and psychosocial support;
  • Essential learning materials.

Give today to help provide emergency assistance to children and families in Lebanon.

 If you prefer to give by phone, please call 1-877-955-3111. We are available to answer your call 24/7.
