Help children affected by the earthquake in Myanmar.

The powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28th has had a devastating impact on children and their families. Severe damage to buildings and roads has been reported in the cities of Sagaing, Nay Pyi Taw and Mandalay which are home to hundreds of thousands of children.

UNICEF is responding to the ongoing crisis in the country.

This earthquake comes on top of an already dire situation. Myanmar is now in its fourth year of escalating conflict, with millions of children already living in fear, displacement and deepening poverty. Over 6.3 million children in Myanmar require humanitarian support. We need your support.

The earthquake’s devastation only adds to the urgent needs of children in Myanmar. Please donate today.

UNICEF is working tirelessly to deliver life-saving support to children and families in Myanmar. But we can’t do it alone.

Your donation today will help us reach more children with essential humanitarian aid, including:

  • Life-saving medical kits;
  • Essential nutrition services;
  • Critical water, sanitation and hygiene services;
  • Essential learning materials;
  • Mental health and psychosocial support;
  • Child protection services.

Donate now to help send urgent aid to children affected by the earthquake in Myanmar.

All donations are eligible for a tax receipt as a charitable gift. If you prefer to donate by phone, please call 1 877 955 3111. We are available to answer your call 24/7.
