Help bring life-saving aid to children affected by floods and typhoons
Devastating cyclones and typhoons have swept across Southern and Eastern Asia – from Sri Lanka to Viet Nam – bringing catastrophic flooding that have claimed lives and displaced thousands. Across the region, critical infrastructure has been damaged, and essential services have been disrupted.
Children are bearing the brunt of this crisis, facing risks to their health, safety and education. In Sri Lanka alone, the lives of over 275,000 children have been affected. Urgent support is needed now.
UNICEF is on the ground, working with governments and partners to deliver life-saving aid across the region. But we can’t do it alone.
Your donation will help UNICEF support children and families who need it most, including with:
- Safe, clean water;
- Medical kits;
- Nutrition supplies;
- Child-friendly spaces;
- Mental health and psychosocial support;
- And so much more.
When an emergency strikes, every minute counts. UNICEF draws on global resources, pre-positioned supplies and emergency reserves to respond without delay. With your support, we can protect children before, during and after disasters like the natural disasters across Southern and Eastern Asia – delivering the help they need when it matters most.
