Your monthly gift helps children play on
Play is at the heart of childhood. It’s how children learn, imagine, connect with each other and discover who they are.
Yet for millions of children around the world, play is replaced by worries about safety and survival. Conflict, crisis and displacement force children to grow up far too fast. For these children, play can be a lifeline, offering comfort, relief from stress and trauma, and a sense of hope.
UNICEF is determined to help children—wherever they are—PLAY ON so they can run, laugh, learn and build the skills they need for life. But we need your support.
Donate monthly to bring play to children living in the toughest places. Your ongoing generosity helps sustain hundreds of play- and sport-based initiatives, including:
- Expanding services, including parenting programs, that promote play for children
- Opening doors to preschool and early learning environments where children can explore and grow
- Creating safe, inclusive and welcoming spaces where children are free to play
Whether it’s jumping rope or playing soccer, cricket or tag, sports and physical activity help strengthen growing bodies and brains. Play boosts confidence, curiosity, focus and problem solving skills, while nurturing joy and connection.
