Donate monthly to help protect girls’ rights
“Girls and boys need to have the same right to be heard — that’s something we can all get behind.” — Liam Neeson, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador
Every child has the right to be healthy, learn and be heard. But today, millions of girls are still denied their basic rights to education, health, nutrition and safety.
Did you know that more than 119 million girls around the world are out of school? That means millions are missing out on learning, friendship and the opportunity to build a brighter future.
Together, we can help change this.
UNICEF is working in some of the world’s hardest-to-reach places to remove the barriers holding girls back and protect their rights. With your monthly support, UNICEF can help girls by providing:
- Health and nutrition — including mental health, sexual and reproductive health, HIV prevention, care and treatment, and menstrual health and hygiene.
- Education and learning — including skill-building in and out of school, so girls can continue learning and prepare for a more equal future.
- Protection from violence and harmful practices — including abuse, exploitation, child marriage and female genital mutilation.
