UNICEF Canada Emergency Fund

UNICEF has offices in the south of Haiti and has staff working in Haiti ready to respond to the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that hit early on Saturday, August 14.

UNICEF continues to prioritize urgent needs and provide assistance to support children and families who will be in urgent need of shelter, safe water, medical care and protection.  UNICEF has prepositioned emergency supplies in the region that are already being dispatched throughout the country.

Your donation to the Emergency Fund will ensure we can continue to respond in emergencies like this to support children’s most urgent needs.

Help us be prepared during emergencies like these and keep every child safe.

UNICEF can deliver lifesaving supplies within 72 hours to the most vulnerable children almost anywhere in the world. In times of emergency and wherever the lives of children are at risk, we are there for every child.

Your gift today could save lives by providing:

• Clean water in times of disaster
• Urgent medical aid and nutrition support
• Information and supplies to prevent disease outbreaks
• Support services for children and families who’ve lost their homes
