Donate to UNICEF’s Rohingya Crisis Relief Fund

Super cyclone Amphan is expected to make landfall in Bangladesh and India and is likely to cause extensive damage due to high winds and heavy rain. Nearly 10.9 million people could be affected. UNICEF is working with the Government of Bangladesh to protect the most vulnerable children and families, including Rohingya refugees.

We need your help to make sure no one is left behind.

Since August 2017, more than 850,000 Rohingya refugees have fled violence and persecution in Myanmar to seek refuge in Cox’s Bazar District, Bangladesh. The Muslim minority refugees of Rohingya are living in precarious conditions in congested camps, which is now a greater concern since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Donations have enabled UNICEF to pre-position emergency supplies in Bangladesh for nearly 1.5 million children and provide personal protective equipment for 10,000 volunteers, together with our local partners. But we still need more donations to scale up our response to reach every child in need in Bangladesh.

Save a child’s life and donate to the Rohingya Relief Fund today.

Here are just a few examples of how you can make an impact:

  • Your gift of $50 can protect 112 children from waterborne diseases
  • Your gift of $67 can provide a family of five with blankets for warmth and a tarpaulin for protection from the elements
  • Your gift of $76 can provide tetanus vaccines to protect 166 moms and babies
  • Your gift of $171 can cover the cost of personal protective equipment for three volunteers
