Help Children Displaced by Hurricane Dorian

Support UNICEF’s aid efforts by donating to the Bahamas Relief Fund.

UNICEF is quickly responding to humanitarian needs following the devastating Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas. An estimated 18,000 children and their families need urgent help. They have a grueling recovery ahead of them. You can help.

In the aftermath of the most powerful hurricane in Bahamas’ history, UNICEF has shipped 1.5 tons of lifesaving supplies that will help provide access to safe water for over 9,500 children and families left reeling by the storm. 400,000 water purification tablets, several 5,000-liters tanks for at least 2,000 people, and 1,000 jerry cans, are being distributed to the affected communities.

What does UNICEF do during emergencies?

UNICEF can deliver lifesaving supplies within 72 hours to the most vulnerable children almost anywhere in the world. In times of emergency and wherever the lives of children are at risk, we are there for every child.

Your gift today could save lives by providing:

• Clean water in times of disaster
• Urgent medical aid and nutrition support
• Information and supplies to prevent disease outbreaks
• Support services for children and families who’ve lost their homes
• Education for children in crisis
